What is price history?
Price history shows how the price of a security has changed over time. For listed shares there is continuous price history from exchange trading. For unlisted shares there is no ongoing market price, so the history is instead based on completed transactions and earlier share issues.
Price history for unlisted shares
Instead of daily closing prices, price development in unlisted companies is reflected by individual deals in secondary trading and by the price in earlier funding rounds. On Accumeo, historical transaction prices are shown, giving a reference point for pricing.
How to use price history
Price history is one of several inputs when you assess the value of an unlisted share. Because deals are sparser and can vary more than on an exchange, it should be combined with your own company analysis and a broader valuation.
